Do you want to belly-dance? Do you love pirates? Do you want to party?

House Blackfeather is a social club for people interested in belly-dancing and pirates in history. We socialize with people from rennaissance faires, medieval groups, dancers and drum circles, and anywhere that people love pirates and belly-dancing.

House Blackfeather consists of three major parts:
Household Blackfeather - The S.C.A. section of the House
The Blackfeather Pirates - The Pirates of House Blackfeather
Jamilah Dance Troupe - The Belly-dance Troupe of House Blackfeather

Blackfeathers are interested in three things. Belly-dancing, pirates, and having fun, preferably at the same time. We're in this for a good time, and if we're not having fun, we're doing something wrong.

Our captain is Lord Logan, and if you've bought kettle korn at the Fla Renn Faire, you'll recognize him. He's our Pirate King, he drums for the dancers, and loves beautiful women just like the rest of us in House Blackfeather.

Ladies, if you're interested in learning how to dance, talk to Anakhet. Our lead dancer and belly-dance teacher is Anakhet al-Badawiyya, trained in Middle Eastern dancing for over a decade. She doesn't teach professionally, but is always happy to get together and practice with friends.

House Blackfeather is everywhere, and hangs out with everyone. We're active in the S.C.A. and spend time with the Adrian Empire, the Royal Chessmen, and anyone in between. We aren't a group-specific social club and we aren't here to play politics or games. We're just here to have fun and party with friends.

In addition to seeing us at almost renn and medieval faire in south Florida, you can also find us online at our MySpace profile.
